Train for a Career in Performing Arts

The Ballet Foundation of San Diego (Foundation) recognizes that the raw talent needed to achieve a career as a professional dancer or choreographer can be nurtured by a young dancer’s teachers, family, and proud community supporters. The Foundation’s scholarships empower young artists and their families in this journey.

Read below how the Foundation is shaping the future of ballet & the lives of its burgeoning San Diego artists:

Bennett Choreographer’s Fund

Named for a San Diego favorite, the late Charles Bennett moved and inspired San Diego audiences for over 25 years through his beloved and original works, including Dracula, Romeo & Juliet, and Alice in Wonderland. This fund supports a choreographer in residence to create memorable works on San Diego’s artists for San Diego audiences. The choreographers are invited by the Foundation.
